A Night in Polaroids #1

Hey guys! Its been a little while. Been keeping out of trouble? Hows the family?

Speaking of family, my one was expanded last week with the purchase of this little fella. I like to call him Bertie.

Bertie is a One Step Polaroid 600 type instant camera from the 90's who enjoys partying, taking photos, long walks on the beach...

...and sleeping.

He's also my new constant companion for nights out on the town, birthdays and special holidays. Of which yesterday fell into all 3 categories being my good friend Hughs birthday, on St Patrick's day which we spent out on the town! So rather than me telling the entire story I'll let the photos do it for me.

Or in summary it goes something like this.

Go to wrong Irish pub. Photo #1 Meet Hugh in Fremantle at correct Irish pub. Photo #2 to #5 Spend many hours drinking Guinness at said pub. Photo #6 Somehow wind up at the subiaco hotel in the city. Photo #7 Blank. Photo #8 Run into cousins on late train ride home. Sleep.

Hopefully next time I'll get the scanner up and running and you can check them out in even greater detail! Hope your Irish holiday was rocking.

Peace out.

London Lemon Linguini... Uh I mean Farfalle. With Lamb Chops.

"So wheres the Linguine?"

Having just met Anna while couchsurfing at her place in London i was unsure if she was controlling her rage or laughter. But my first Flogging certainly wasn't off to a good start.  Nor was my pasta, considering my good friend Gareth and I had just purchased all the Ingredients except the pasta. But we'll get to the delicious replacement later. If you're confused about what Flogging is you can see Gareth describe what it is on my YouTube channel here in a day or two.

Now I am a massive fan of Jamie Oliver, from his amazing advocacy on obesity to his delicious recipes and this recipe is based on his Lemon Linguine with a few changes, such as using normal lemons rather than Sicilian lemons which definitely lived down to my expectations. However we used awesome colourful artisan Italian pasta to make up for this and make up for it, it did! The other inspiring ingredients you will need are extra virgin olive oil, delicious grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, garlic, sea salt and black pepper. You can find the shortened recipe for the pasta at the bottom of this post.

For the chops all you will need is your seasoning of choice and some love (awww).

Thanks again to Gareth and Ana for their help and the use of their lovely kitchen.

Renae and London

A week ago Renae and I met for some seriously awesome times in London.
In true Renae style she passed on her wisdom of amazing things to do in this amazing city!

Anyway we started with brekky at a place called Foxcroft and Ginger, which definitely has the best coffee I've tasted thus far in England then moved on to the science museum and the museum of natural history for some shenanigans.

She's certainly a high flyer!

...the Science Museum!

In short the weekend was gert lush! Hope yours was too.

First Post! ...on my own blog

Thanks Tyler

Or as they say in Bogan. Yeah boi.

Why is everyone obsessed with getting the first post in the comments section? Finishing first isn’t always a good thing if you know what I’m referring to. Yeah you do. Can’t keep your minds out of the gutter for long.

What i was referring to was Jenga. Naked Jenga.
And with that image in your mind I bid you good day.
