No really, its the only way of looking at the world that makes sense. Primarily because its not a belief system but a tool for finding out about and explaining the world which adjusts its views based on observations. Oh and all my friends are super awesome scientists or researchers.
Tim Minchin sums up my views pretty well in his 9 minute beat poem, Storm.
In addition working for some seriously awesome science centres with some seriously awesome people has given me an addiction to the feeling of wowing people with some amazing fact or demonstration they haven't seen before, and has even led me to delve into the world of science communication personally with my other site MedSchool. Kudos!
There are many awesome people out there who contribute to science and help advocate for science every day, and here's just a short list. If you fall under that category I am more than happy to help spread the word with a link so drop me an email at dane.brookes@gmail.com
